Specialty Chemical mineral oil (by Calumet) is a superior mineral naphthenic refrigeration oil designed to meet the operating requirements of modern residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration compressors. These oils have a low pour point, low wax floc temperature and are chemically and thermally stable in the presence of refrigerants. OEM approved by Copeland, Carlyle, Trane, and other major compressor manufacturers. Always follow compressor manufacturer's oil viscosity recommendations. Mineral oil is specially recommended for lubrication of compressors containing ammonia, R-11, 12, 13, 22, 113, 114, 123, 500 and 502 refrigerants in residential, industrial and commercial service. DO NOT USE WITH HFC REFRIGERANTS SUCH AS R-134A.
